Executive Committee

Overview

The UNAVSA Conference Executive Committee is comprised of two or more Executive Directors. The Executive Director(s) will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for the UNAVSA conference staff, program, and execution of the UNAVSA conference mission and goals.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Management:

  • Ensure programmatic excellence, rigorous program evaluation, and consistent quality of finance, fundraising, sponsorship, communications, and systems; recommend timelines and resources needed to achieve goals
  • Actively engage and energize UNAVSA conference staff, volunteers, alumni, partnering organizations, and sponsors/funders
  • Develop, maintain, and support a strong conference staff. Participate on committee calls, seek and build Executive Board involvement with strategic direction of conference
  • Lead, coach, develop, and retain UNAVSA conference director/leadership team by providing on-going training for conference staff and on-going feedback (positive and constructive) to conference staff
